Well as usual the Trail and Enduro Motorcycle Club’s Kickstart Night turned out to be a great success! There was plenty of information on the forthcoming season’s events as well as a host of suppliers and bike shops giving an update on the availability of the latest bikes and gear for enduro racing.
The pizza’s were a hit and the bar kept a steady flow of drinks going, nothing unusual about that!
It was great to see so many Perth Trail Scene partners there such as Motoshop, KTM West, Endurowe Tech and Motorcycle Studio. There were also a lot of door prizes given out and I managed to score a can of chain lube from Ram (Motorcycle Studio) which wasn’t surprising seeing how many prizes were given out from him and KTM West.
The President of the club Sam Iacobellis was very pleased with the way the night turned out, and was only too happy to provide us with a summary:
“On behalf of the Trail & Enduro Club of W.A, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the club supporters and the mix of old and new members who came to the clubs KickStart Night last night. With over 120 people attending there was always some one to chat to! As well as a lot of bench racing, it was great to mingle with off road enthusiast’s and discuss the clubs 2016 calendar.”
“With 3 Sprint Event rounds, 6 Enduro rounds (2 two day events) a Natural terrain Motocross and a couple more events in the pipeline, we hope there is something for all riders to enjoy.”
“It was great to see so many bikes from our supporters with nearly every brand on display. As well as the big effort of having great displays, the supporters handed out a huge amount of spot prizes to lucky raffle ticket winners. The crews were on hand to have a chat about their products and answer everybody’s questions. We hope the T&E MCC members will support these shops as they are helping the club to move forward: KTM West, Battery Tech, MX Retreads, MotoShop Tyre and Gear, West Coast Honda, Midvale Yamaha, Total Motorcycle Accessories, Endurowe Tech Suspension and Chassis, and Arbonne.”
“A lot of information was handed out by the club on the night especially regarding the One Event Motorcycle Registration Permit and the re-introduction of the Trail Class. If you missed any of the info it can be found on the club website: http://www.trailandenduro.com.au or I am happy for members to contact me directly.
Thanks again to everybody who came along for making it a great night.”
It was good to catch up with some old faces and meet some new ones and now bring on the season, see you at round 1!
